gala - Silent Auction

The Silent Auction taking place at “An Artful Evening at CAAM,” provides the opportunity for gala attendees to bid on a number of one-of-a-kind items.  Items included on the website are solely for preview. Items are not available for advance bidding, thus bidders must do so in person the evening of the gala.

A bid is a contract to purchase all items where you are the highest bidder. All sales are final. You must be present to bid on any item.  The Silent Auction will take place in the tent during the reception prior to the gala program.  The highest bidder must provide a credit card number or a signed check to receive the item(s).

CAAM asks that all items purchased that evening be removed at the conclusion of the event. CAAM will not deliver items forgotten at the event, but they will be held for later pick-up, proper identification required. All checks are payable to Friends, the Foundation of the California African American Museum. The following credit cards are accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

All proceeds from the Silent Auction benefits Friends, the Foundation of the California African American Museum.
